The purpose of this project has been to develop an Advance Telephone Exchange and to evaluate its potential effectiveness. As we know that the communication in an organization is the most important issue. The Telephone Exchange deals with this issue, it enables user to interact with other users through designated phone line both locally with telephone line circuit and remotely with trunk interface. Telephone Exchange is a combination of hardware and software components telephone. Our system enables users to conduct audio conferencing in by using its special feature. This feature enables its users to discuss and solve their problems while sitting at their places and communicate with one another as long as they want. It also allows users to make there own white lists and black lists. This feature allows user to receive calls from his favorite number through white list and block other number through black list. It also receives call from other public switch telephone network (PSTN). This call reception is automatic, it also guide remote users about internal hierarchy through speech synthesizer. These functions eliminate the need of an operator. A problem that will be solved by our system is that small organizations can enjoy advanced feature Telephone exchange at low cost.
