Design and fabrication of an electric car with rechargeable facility

By: Material type: TextTextPublication details: Islamabad Department of Mechatronics Engineering (Air University Main Campus) 2013Description: x;39p. CDSummary: The purpose of this project was to design and fabricate an electric car to achieve better efficiency than an ordinary car with more reliable abilities. The initial idea was to develop the car using an electric motor and battery. Different techniques were used to maximize the performance and efficiency of the electric car, including Regenerative braking and Battery Monitoring System. This system helps the car to brake without losing its kinetic energy at the wheels, and makes the car to be more efficient than ordinary cars. These results show that if advanced techniques are used to operate the Electric car, we can improve the efficiency of newly manufacturing Electric cars using low-cost and effective technique
