Summary: The subject project relates to designing of wireless charging system for powering mobile phones by placing them on a power transmitting surface. The transmitting surface would be built into the frame of a table. The basic principle behind the wireless charging is the mutual induction between the transmitter coil, which is based in the table and a receiving coil which would be placed on the surface of the table. The wireless receiver enables the charging of mobile phones.
