We desire to make a Robot that would be capable of performing a soldier’s work in a battle. This would reduce the risk of endangering soldier’s life from the close enemy attacks. A human soldier may experience hunger, pain, sleep, fatigue, exhaustion, climatic limitations, tensions & emotions leading to distraction whereas a robotic soldier will be free of these things and would operate at its full capability till its batteries are alive. The robot has the capabilities of moving through rough terrain with the help of treads, acquiring real time view of enemy area through a wireless camera, shooting via weapon installed on it and climbing stairs. Furthermore, it can be used as a platform for carrying out various other tasks like fire extinguisher, transporter for any wounded or luggage, mine detector, a toy robot etc. This report will discuss all the phases through which we had to pass in development of our project.
