Designings simulation instrumentation and fabrication of shell and tube heat exchanger

By: Material type: TextTextPublication details: Department of Mechatronics (Air University Main Campus) 2008Description: xi,88p. CD availableSummary: Effectiveness is important factor by which we know the performance of process equipment. The goal of our project is to find the effectiveness of Heat Exchanger. For this purposes we have made a complete setup in which we design, simulate ,fabricate and instrumentation of 1-2 shell and tube heat exchanger. We get inlet and outlet temperatures from sensors (i.e. thermocouple ,LM35) by interfacing these sensors via parallel port . According to these data from sensors ,we have find out the effectiveness of our heat exchanger. We have also develop software’s for thermal design of our heat exchanger on EES for both Kern and Bell Delaware method.
