The project in hand is an autonomous four-wheeled robot, capable of lift and drop mechanism for trolleys carrying industrial parts. The robot receives a wireless signal from a particular assembly line zone, when there is a need of another loaded trolley. It senses the zone number, navigates to the corresponding warehouse shelf, lifts the trolley with required material type, again navigates to that zone, drops the trolley there and finally navigates back to its 'HOME' position. This describes a single job for the robot. During a job, the robot saves other received signals in its memory and implement them in order just after the completion of current job
