The aim of this project is to design and implement a transmitter that works on the principle of trellis coding (channel coding). The input data is converted to digital format (bits), these bits are converted to symbols according to a channel coding technique that is trellis coding. These symbols are mapped into constellations using 8-Phase Shift Keying (8-PSK) modulation technique and then transmitted via wired channel. The simulation is done in LabVIEW and for the transmission NI ELIVIS II is used.
