520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. The ability to note down small pieces of information, quickly and easily, can be useful. This project proposes a system called Phone Point Pen that uses the in-built accelerometer in mobile phones to recognize human handwriting. By holding the phone like a pen, a user should be able to write short messages or draw simple diagrams in the air. The acceleration due to hand gestures can be translated into geometric strokes, and recognized as characters. The geometric images and/or characters can then be sent to the user’s email address for future reference. We implemented the Phone Point Pen on the Windows Phone 8.1 platform, and evaluated it through real users. We worked on client-server as well due to which this application allows user to send drawing to other connected clients. This application can be easily used while driving because nowadays smartphones have tiny keypads which do not allow user to write short message unintentionally. We also added speech to text and text to speech module which helps users communicating while driving. Currently there is no such application available in market which allows users to communicate, write messages without using keypad. The second part of the application consists of client-server architecture.
